You’ll experience a tour that’s packed with exploration, culture, and Mayan knowledge with this Chichen Itza Tours.
You’ll be taken to a buffet lunch to kick off your historical tour, where you’ll eat exquisite traditional Mayan gastronomy.
The Chichen Itza Pyramid known as El Castillo, or “The Castle,” which was created in honor of the God Kukulcan, will be the first thing you notice when you enter the great Mayan city. A guided tour and free time in the Mayan Ruins, totaling around two hours, will allow you to independently explore all of Chichen Itza’s ruins.
You’ll also take a swim in the cenote while you’re there, which will make the trip more enjoyable! Swimming in the cenotes, which were sacred to the Mayans, will not only be amazing but also refreshing.
Along with visiting Chichen Itza, you will also go to Valladolid, Yucatan, a historic town in the midst of the Yucatan Peninsula. Valladolid will show you the characteristic Mayan way of life, peaceful and easygoing citizens, and charming little shops lining the plaza.
